“Never the Same Tree Twice” / “ Seas, Trees and a few Surprises”
This A4 book, now renamed, is a portfolio of 80 pages of Ian's work in both watercolours and acrylics together with a short biography and a personal comment on his passion for landscapes in general and trees in particular.
It is now in its 5th edition and to date has raised over £1000 for Cancer Charities.
Starting to paint late in life and with no formal art training the prints also show his journey in both media to establish his own particular approach and recognizable style.

This new book concentrates on Ian’s passion for painting trees and gives an insight into the development of his style and processes. It includes tips for painting trees, ideas for adding texture into work and two step by step guides based on his loose washes together with lots of colour prints with commentaries.
